Park homes that sleep eight or more
These are three and four-bedroom park homes sleeping eight to ten people, let as a whole home for one price. There is no per-person charge, no charge for children, and the beds are real bedrooms rather than a sofa bed counted as a berth.

Prices are the lowest nightly rate for each home. For your own dates, search with the calendar and the whole price is shown before you go any further.
Two families in one home, or three generations, is where park homes beat both a hotel and a cottage. A hotel costs per head and separates everybody. A cottage with stairs and a single bathroom produces a queue at eight in the morning.
A park home is single-storey, has two or three bathrooms, and puts the bedrooms at opposite ends of the building with the living space in the middle. That layout is the entire reason this collection exists.
Does the price change with the number of guests?
No. You are renting the whole home. Ten people pay what four would pay for the same home on the same dates, which is what makes these the cheapest beds on the park per person.
The only things that vary with the party are the dog fee, if a dog is coming, and the length-of-stay discount, which reduces the nightly rate on longer stays. Both are in the breakdown before you pay.
Are the sleeping numbers honest?
They count beds in bedrooms. A home that sleeps eight has four double or twin spaces in three or four bedrooms; it does not reach eight by counting a sofa bed in the lounge and a travel cot.
Each listing states the bedrooms, the bathrooms and the size of the home in feet. If a configuration matters to you, ring the park: the manager knows which second bedroom takes twins rather than a double.
How many bathrooms are there?
Two in the three-bedroom homes — an en suite to the principal bedroom and a family bathroom — and two or three in the four-bedroom homes. For eight people over a week, the second bathroom matters more than almost anything else in the specification.
The listing states both numbers. We have not seen a park home website that makes this easy to find, which is odd, because it is the question large parties ask first.
Can we book two homes next to each other?
Often, yes, and for a party of twelve or more it is usually the better answer. The website will not promise adjacent plots because availability moves, so book both and then telephone the park to ask them to place you together.
The park plans the changeover schedule by hand. A request made a fortnight ahead is nearly always honoured; one made on arrival day rarely can be.
Questions people ask
What is the maximum party size?
+
Ten in the largest homes currently taking bookings — four-bedroom homes at Marwell Court and Beechwood Park. Above that, book two homes on the same park.
Are travel cots and highchairs available?
+
Yes, free, on request at the park rather than through the website, because there are a finite number of each on each park. Ask when you book rather than on arrival. A cot does not count against the sleeping number.
Is there a charge for children?
+
No. The home is let as a whole home. Children are counted so the park knows who is on the park, and because a few homes are adults-only and the search needs to exclude them.
Can we have a party?
+
A family staying up late is expected. An event is not: the homes are close together and the parks are residential in feel rather than resorts. Stag and hen parties are not accepted, and that is in the booking terms rather than a surprise on arrival.
Do big homes need a minimum stay?
+
Most take two nights, and some rise to three or four over bank holidays and in August. The calendar refuses dates below the minimum rather than accepting the booking and telephoning you afterwards.
